Iguaçu Falls

Visit to the Brazilian side of the famous waterfalls. The Iguaçu National Park covers 185,262 ha on the Brazilian side and 67,000 ha on the Argentine side. 275 waterfalls of the Rio Iguaçu, averaging 60 m high, roar into a semi-circular canyon over a length of 2.7 km. An unforgettable natural spectacle. Our suggestion: Helicopter flight (optional) to marvel at the gigantic dimensions of these falls. You should also plan some time for a visit to the very interesting bird park “Parque das Aves”.

Also the Argentinian side of the falls should definitely be visited. A mini train takes you through the national park. You then reach the roaring masses of water of the Garganta del Diabo, the Devil's Throat, via footbridges. Our suggestion: a breathtaking dinghy ride just below the falls (optional). Afternoon visit to the Itaipu Dam with the second largest hydroelectric power station in the world. 14,000 MW of electricity is generated here, which supplies power to Paraguay and parts of southern and southwest Brazil
